Network Core Mechanisms of Exponence

Inkelas, Sharon (1993)

Abstract

The paper provides a detailed analysis for the complex position class morphology of the Papuan language Nimboran and discusses the consequences for morphological theory. It is argued that Nimboran has an unusually large class of zero roots (12) which can be distinguished by selecting different verbal particles.
