Hurch, Bernhard and Mattes, Veronika (eds.) (2005)

Abstract

This recent collection of papers on reduplication is an important resource both for its linguistic diversity – contributions cover a geographically broad range of spoken languages, as well as two Sign Languages, pidgins and creoles, and child language – and for its theoretical diversity, as the papers discuss phonological, morphological and semantic issues in reduplication within a number of different frameworks.
